Replacement service for Ability Buses?

The Parish Council wishes to provide an update regarding local transport options, following the cessation of the Ability Bus service. We are delighted to share that [CMB – CommMiniBus](https://cmbus.org/) has announced their intention to launch a new service from King’s Sutton, operating at least twice weekly—one journey to Brackley and another to Banbury. This service will be a hybrid, combining elements of a scheduled timetable with aspects of the Ability model, and importantly, you will not be required to book a seat in advance.
At present, CommMiniBus has limited information about passenger numbers, so your feedback is invaluable. Please email the Clerk if you think there is a need for more than one bus per week to Banbury.
CommMiniBus is in the process of applying to West Northamptonshire Council (WNC) for funding and additional minibuses. We will keep you updated as we receive further information on their progress.
A representative from CommMiniBus hopes to attend the annual parish meeting next week (Thursday 16th April 7:15pm at the Millennium Hall) to provide a direct update and answer any questions you may have.
Thank you for your continued support and input.
Kind regards,
Liz Hart,
Clerk to King’s Sutton Parish Council
